Hey /adv/, I was hoping I could get some advice. I'm overweight, and I have been so for a few years now. I'm looking to lose 20-30 pounds as soon as possible.
Know of any good options? Does Nutrisystem work? Any suggested diet plans?
Soylent, protein bars, and replace all sweeteners with IMO syrup. Literally nothing else unless you want to add steamed broccoli or fresh spinach for some greens (no dressings or sauces). Shoot for 1200-1600 calories per day depending on how overweight you are. Don't lose weight too fast.

lift also. if you don't have weights do body weight exercises.
Eat less and exercise more
I'm about 30 pounds overweight and I started this three weeks ago
>cut out soda to once a week
>do calisthenics like you're in gym class again daily
>don't skip the cardio, run around the block a few times or buy a jump rope and feel like a bitch when you're winded after 35 jumps
>limit your portions when eating. Dinner is now dinner and tomorrow's lunch
>eat more vegetables and fiber to feel full. A handful of baby carrots works wonders
>a protein shake and multivitamin for breakfast Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday
The protein powder I use is like a weak multivitamin (Muscle Milk). I haven't weighed myself yet but I've lost enough weight already to require a belt and my coworkers are noticing I'm slimming down a bit

my preferred brand of IMO is VitaFiber. It is slightly more expensive, but tastes better imo. Adds a lot of fiber to your diet.
