What is severe anxiety/hypochondria like? I've never experienced it but my friend from HS is trying to work through it.
According to him, your body is a living nightmare but he won't talk more about it. He can't even look people in the eyes and has trouble walking straight now.
I'm just curious if anyone has ever had it that bad and what it's like. I know anxiety can do a lot of fucked up things to someone but not even being able to walk?

I had an serious episode once and it's pretty bad.
You basically just get scared in general, you can't look at anyone in the eyes, you stand away from everyone else, figit side to side out of nervousness, people will notice too, you'll just look out of place.
Another friend of mine has really bad anexity and she fumbles on words when trying to talk to people like McDonald's workers, stands away from groups, hides behind her friends.
If you get nervous enough, legs shake you might not be able to walk and just want to sit down. It can limit speech, socializing, and day to day functions. Doing something simple such as talking to a casheir can be really daunting.
Hope this helped.
