When I sip air trough my nose i also feel my lower ribcage expand and it doesn't feel that good, any idea how to breath properly?
if your serious, babies breathe with their stomach, maybe learn how to do that, it's usually used for meditation.

you could see a doctor, your nasal passage could be messed up and they can fix it rq
Doesn't feel good how?
Are you sure you don't have any dislocated ribs?

You're diaphram sits around your lower ribcage. It's the dividing wall between your chest and your abdoment. The diaphram is responsible for inflating your lungs to breathe. Whenever you breath, whether it's through your mouth or your nose, you are pulling air into your chest by flexing your diaphram. Proper, deep breaths make your belly expand because your diaphram is pushing down on it. If you are feeling your lower ribcage expand you are doing it right. If your ribs hurt there might be something wrong with you.
