I've always wanted to be a singer (as a hobby) but i feel i don't have a singing voice, I tried those voice exercise videos but my throat just starts hurting or my voice gives out while trying to sing is it possible to learn singing ?

If you enjoy singing then it's all good, you're having fun
If you want to be a good singer then you're going to have to sing in front of people and get their opinions, so better get comfy with being a bit extroverted
In terms of your throat hurting I'm guessing you just went too hard too fast, do small bits and pieces often when you're practising, not massive sessions
Good luck man, and again start getting comfy with performing/criticism/advice, try be real chill about it, better for everyone

Try to really listen objectively to your voice and work on the parts that seem lacking. Do this for long enough without getting unmotivated and you're good to go. Singing lessons help you do this for you
