Just read that only 3% of all people set proper goals that are written down. Like really???
83% of the population does not have goals
14% have goals in their mind, but not written down
3% have goals written down

It`s just crazy.
How do you usually motivate yourself and set goals? I`m facing a lots of difficulties with long term goals. Any advice?

I'm apart of the 14% for long-term goals, while I'm apart of the 3% for short-term goals.
Usually long-term goals are ambiguous and change a lot. For example "I want to become a doctor" I would say is a long-term goal because it would take more than 2 years to accomplish. What's your definition of a long-term goal?
The main thing I've been able to stick with is running. I set a weekly mileage goal and then I pencil in how much I need to run each day. If I run a little less one of the days during the week I just shift those miles down to the remaining days. I always have a race coming up so that helps too.
