Well fist, keep in mind that the truth is an absolute defense to any claim of defamation. So long as what you're saying is true, and you're not making things up that aren't true or never happened, then there you go.

I suppose you could. I mean, in all honesty, it's pretty unlikely that they'd ever sue you anyway; defamation lawsuits are notoriously hard to win. You might get a phone call, a little saber-rattling, but at the end of the day are they going to want to pay their lawyer $300 / hr to work on a case where they're unlikely to prevail or recover their costs?
