I have a chronic disease. I've been diagnosed for over a year, but I'm still stressing over a number of things:

-aesthetic changes and having to a work a lot harder to not look like total shit
-being too tired and sick to do anything ever
-taking a million billion meds and meds for the side effects of those meds
-constant pain
-being extremely poor bc stuck on SSI
-risk of a not-so-fun death
-the knowledge that I'll never get out of it

I know I'm much luckier than many. After all, I have insurance, meds, and an income. But it's still extremely depressing sometimes and I just want my old life back. Anyone else here have a shitty chronic illness? How do you cope?
