I got my hair washed at a hair salon yesterday. Will I have a stroke?
Yes, definitely

Yeah, and if you survive it you'll have turned gay.

100 strokes, with a firm hairbrush, every evening
I think you're having one already... Why do you think these things would be connected?

Hi, just gonna hijack this thread.
Do we actually need shampoo??
our ancestors lived by without having any shampoo to wash their hairs.
why can't we just wash our hairs with plain water and be done with it?
if it's greasy, then wash twice a day.
who's making it a rules to wash the hair with shampoo??
the jews?

Our ancestors also lived in a caves and died at the age of 25. Just because it's "natural" doesn't mean it's better.
That been said I think it's even recommended that you wash your hair with only water more often than with shampoo.

Just wanted to say that the average life span in the past was so low primarily because the infant mortality rate was through the roof. Sure people died younger than they did now, but 25 is an absolute exaggeration. Elderly people isn't a modern phenomenon.

I wash only with water. Sometimes I'll go a day or two between showers. Here's a fun fact: the skin produces oils on an as-needed basis. If you're scouring your scalp twice a day, your skin is going to really crank up oil production and you'll feel gross. If you step back and just use water, your hair will be less oily and sweaty. Just make sure you do work your hair over with water.
