A kid I went to school with had a lazy eye and I found it really off putting. She was out there so she would've got bullied anyway, but the lazy eye was the icing on an ugly cake.

Get surgery if you can. If not, I'd wear an eyepatch. At least that would be a conversation starter.

Surgery should only be a priority if you think it should be one, having a lazy eye is noticeable, but not really a huge problem, nor something that most people will judge you for.

Huh. This post reminded me that i actually have lazy eye.. In both eyes.

Automatically got free surgery for them when i was 8, courtesy of my country's functional healthcare system (eat your heart out, US). Never been a problem since.

It still happens from time to time, but is barely noticeable.
