Construction is good, but not long term. Very hard on the body. Same with HVAC. but, what you can do, is work construction for a long time, 10 years or so, then get certified as an inspector and open your own home inspection business. Almost everyone gets home inspections before buying the house, and inspectors charge like 400-500 bucks per inspection, which lasts all of an hour or so with some work later to compile the report. If you can just get 2 inspections per day, you'll be rolling in money.
