I have a question for you too op. When I had mono I was incredibly itchy all over for days. Did you get that too?

While we're on the topic, I'm another anon who somehow caught this awful bug long ago.

Tell me, am I tainted forever with it, or does no one really give a shit about it?

I mean the infection alone was hospital worthy since I was neglected most of my time since I had it. Only when my uncle and grandpa intervened did I get treatment, but it felt like a really nasty flu bug.

I heard it stays with you forever, and there's some days when it would pop up again. I dunno if that's true, which is why I'd also like to know everyone else's experiences.

This is a horrible disease. It will stay with us forever because it is a virus and now, you have immunity. It can pop up again yeah, that's true but it is a small chance don't worry about it. %95 of people have that virus.
