I have been rejected at my last 5 job interviews. I have one at McDonald's tomorrow and I desperately need a job or else I'm going to kill myself.
How do I not fuck this one up?

what experience do you have?
>>18589925
No experience and I'm already 19
>>18589969
well fuck aren't you mellow dramatic. take a chill pill there teeny-bopper.
talk about customer service and don't shit all over yourself. you're obviously not answering questions in a way that makes it sound like you'll say 'how high?' when asked to jump.
what were the other jobs? how did you feel the interview went?
>>18589990
When asked questions I thought I gave good answers. The other ones were a movie theatre, some concert venue, an electronics store, cafe, and recently, target.
I talked about how calmly I would handle things and how I would offer extra help for a customer while staying positive. I struggle on the "tell me about a time when" questions but managed to make up some about helping at fundraisers. I've asked and no one can just give me bullshit examples that they have used.
Starting to think it's because I'm ugly.

And I struggle on the tell me about yourself I guess? I usually say I'm a hard worker and at the last one I said I'm a competent person and taking time off school to work. I thought that would be a garuntee into the job.
In a mock interview in class I was told I seem robotic.

>I'm ugly
Groom yourself.
>>18590032
You think I don't?
>>18590018
>how calmly I would handle things
nope. don't say that. makes you sound like the customers are crazy.
Told this to another anon, I'll tell it to you too.
Dress business casual. Groom yo ass. Obviously.
Talk about customer service skills. (if you don't know what constitutes a customer service skill: https://www.helpscout.net/blog/customer-service-skills)
Speak clearly.
Before you go in, prepare some questions about the company, because in my own experience, at some point, they'll say "do you have any questions for me?"
They will definitely say "tell me about yourself." Have something prepared for this. Something that makes you sound capable.
That first handshake communicates SO MUCH. Make it firm, make it count.
Look them in the eyes, but don't stare. Ya feel?
It's kind of late, but if you have the time, bill up a cover letter and a resume. If you don't know how, Google Docs is your best friend, but let me know if you need any other help.
