I don't have a way to access health care nor do I really have people to talk to about this without feeling judged so /adv/ it is.

I think I might have OCD. I like to collect things that I consider luxurious or cool, even if those things have a practical usage. I buy things in new condition usually off of eBay or Amazon. If literally ANYTHING I care about arrives with even the SLIGHTEST cosmetic defect (for example -- buy a new laptop -- there's a cosmetic scratch on the bottom of the laptop or something) I get retarded neurotic about it and can't stop thinking about it. I keep checking it to try to convince myself the defect is trivial and that it doesn't really matter but I just can't stop obsessing over it. It's stupid and I know it's neurotic but I can't stop. It'll bother me so much that I almost consider getting items exchanged because of trivial cosmetic inconsistencies. And it bothers me even more that even if I end up getting something exchanged, there is no guarantee that it will be in pristine condition, because the truth is that almost no manufactured products are free of tiny cosmetic scratches on easy to scratch surfaces like plastic.

Of course, I don't like being a dick to stores and trying to exchange or return shit for stupid reasons such as this, but the problem is that I literally cannot stop being bothered by it.

Currently I'm obsessed because a new PC case I bought off of amazon has a somewhat noticeable scratch in the side window. I need to stop giving a shit. Pls help.
