I need more work, as my early weekend mornings hardware job just isn't cutting it. I also go to school five days a week. My friend who works at Domino's mentioned that he's gonna become a delivery boy, and I'm thinking I should do the same thing. It satisfies my need for work, and as driving is one of my favourite pass-times, it sounds perfect.
Can anyone who has experience as a Delivery Boy/Girl give me insight on what the job is like, and if I should look elsewhere for work?

I work at a pizza shop, although I'm a """"cook"""" and not a driver. It's great, I love it. The drivers all like it too. Idk what Dominos' tip policy is like but everyone at my store has ample pocket change.
Expect everyone you work with to be a stoner, though.

Having customer service experience is helpful, don't be surprised if you get robbed. Try not to carry valuables on shift.
You're responsible for gas (probably) and maintenance (definitely) on your vehicle. The store will probably give you a small gas allowance that won't cover shit. Hope your car isn't an old beater, you're gonna be putting a lot of miles on it delivery driving.
Expect the pay to be shit. You're a tipped worker, your salary will be sub minimum wage.
