I'm currently jobless and out of school and not at a college.
The best way to describe it is, I'm always wanting to move on and do something but I can never motivate myself too. It also feels like when in conversations with people my thinking is faster then theirs, so like i end up finishing sentences for people. I also always have to move my legs when sitting down and have difficultly focusing when people talk to me.

Those behaviors do sound quite characteristic of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, and I can't think of any other official disorders that fit the description except ADHD. But I'm just an undergrad psychology major, so don't count it as official diagnosis. What advice would you like, now that you have corroboration of your condition from an underqualified internet stranger?

Not to be a faggot about it but I was diagnosed at 17 because I was able to get A's in school without trying, so it's probably not that you've developed it but that it's only now becoming a problem since you've been able to compensate until now.

See a psychologist and get a diagnosis then, it's totally possible you might have ADHD, and a letter from a psychologist can work wonders for you. Some schools will give you major concessions to even the odds. I'm talking letting you bring a list of equations to an exam major.

It is sure worth adding a professional to your case if you think your cognitive condition affects your ability to learn or function. For one thing, it helps you get perspective on what drives you and what goals you should set. If you do decide to go to college, a recommendation from the Student Accommodations office can allow you extra time to take tests if it is useful to your success as well as provide a testing environment where you are not surrounded by other students, if it helps you concentrate better.
