I was in an accident last Wednesday, rear ended but unluckily I forgot to renew my 6 month insurance so I was uninsured. The party at fault is still required to pay the damages/towing but no pain and suffering. It has been a week and I haven't heard anything from said guys insurance. The, I suppose, issue with this is that the truck isn't in my name, my dad passed a couple years ago and I took the truck but due to financial issues, my mom was never able to transfer everything over to her/my name yet. Since its not in my name and I was uninsured, will I still receive money to fix my rear end, and should I contact the guys insurance company tomorrow?
