Quick thread, been talking to a girl for about a month now, we've admitted we liked each other. About two days ago she told me that her parents would never let her have a bf unless they were to marry. We're only eighteen.

I have no intentions of marrying this girl (obviously) but I do want to try and start a relationship with her. Her family is bapist so I'm 90% they have worries about her having premarital sex.

I don't want to do a secret relationship. Is there any way around this or should I just move on?

Not really. The ball is in her court, she either needs to lay down the law with her parents and say "I'm a fucking adult now, back off" or not.

But honestly if you have no intention of "possibly" marrying this girl there's not much point in dating. I get that you're not gonna commit right away, but if there's not even the thought in your mind that "Yeah, maybe someday this could happen" then don't date her. Just try and get that sweet virginity and move onto the next one.

find some cheap ring and you both just tell her parents you proposed. If they ask when the wedding is just say you dont have the money for it yet. ezpz
