hi /adv/, pls help. I recently took a 1-year programme in IT and found out I liked the design subjects the most,
but that I was unable to understand most of the math related subjects (because I was bad at math in High School, and kinda fell off it)
Now I have an issue:
>Accepted to Preparatory Course for B.E. CompSci (1+3 yrs, math intensive but I went to some summer courses and it went pretty OK with a little help)
>Accepted to Informatics (B.Sc. CompSci in Norway) with focus on Interaction Design (3+2 yrs if i go for a M.Sc.)
If I go for informatics, there's room for electives so I can basically take math / more CompSci subjects and transfer to M.Sc. in Software Engineering or the likes.
I have several friends who studied CompSci (interaction design), and they were unable to find a job, but then again, they partied through University and didn't work for shit.
I'm actually mostly interested in Interaction Design and Entrepreneurship, but I would also like some form of job security if I find out entrepeneurship is a dumb idea.
Would B.E. CompSci or B.Sc. Interaction design be the better idea in those cases? thanks
