many people get tattoos in places where THEY arent going to have to get it. it allows them to live knowing it doesn't tarnish what they see in the mirror, but they can still have the tattoo. its the reason we don't normally get face tattoos. back of calf is just some place where you don't have to worry about it. Lower back used to be a good spot but guys wont stop calling them 'tramp stamps' so here we are.
