Older pets can benifit people who want to dedicate maybe 5 years to a rabbit instead of an entire life span.

Is your rabbit litter trained? Is he good around other animals? Can be walk around the house? Rabbits are vegetarians, so no meat required for up-keep.

Does the rabbit come with a cage? Food? Bedding? Toys?

I adopted an older rabbit once named Munny. He was a great lap rabbit and was already exposed to the world. He didnt bite and was okay being picked up. He was even good with having his nails clipped.

Have allready looked up shelters, no one wants it. She is very dominant and dosen't get along well with other rabbits. She isnt trained in any way. Explain to her the options that you've exhausted.

Then, you can explain to her that in order to be rid of the rabbit, you will need to borrow her car to drive to a farther away shelter.

If she doesn't let you do this, leave the rabbit with her. She bought it.
