Undercooked my beef burger a bit. Will I get ill?

Thats not undercooked, its just medium rare. People request burgers like that all the time and even prefer it to well done. You'll be fine anon.

It's hard to tell from that picture. Quality is kind of crap, it could me med. rare though and if so it's the way it should be. Cooking beef "well done" is for savages.

Apparently rare minced beef can cause food poisening. Is that just very unlikely?

It's beef, you're fine.

It's beef but it's not like a steak, it's ground shit-meat used for tacos and burger patties. So it being rare might not be as desirable or safe to eat than a rare steak. Just drink a bunch of booze, I almost never get sick from eating questionable things because it gets sterilized and flushed out.

that only applies to whole steaks. Ground meat gets almost fully cooked as any surface bacteria has now been pushed into the rest of the meat.
