Mods, can we please get a sticky on this damn board so it's not the same questions every day?

If you are concerned enough to ask, then you should get it checked out.
>I drink too much and want to stop, how do I manage it?
Great! If you are a chronic alcoholic, be sure to seek medical attention if you experience any negative side effects after quitting. Also see your doctor to establish your overall health post-booze. It's very important to tell at least one friend or family member that you're an alcoholic and that you're quitting now so they can help hold you accountable and off alcohol. Look into programs for recovering alcoholics in your area.

Cut off contact with them, explore your hobbies, focus on improving yourself, meet new people, etc.
>My gf/bf cheated on me, what do I do?
Break up with them and never speak to them again.

Yes.

No. They're your ex for a reason. Even if it seems like a good idea now, chances are it's going to end the same way again.

Stop talking to them immediately, get them out of your life, and try to forget about them.

If you're under 25, probably not. If you're 25+, probably so. Wear a condom.
