Is it possible to get 'degrees' of allergy?
By that I mean, like obviously people can have allergies to pollen which give them runny noses and block them up and etc.
But I mean for example, could you have some sort of allergy to say... seafood, but it doesn't cause you to go to a near-death experience, but have rather crippling pain in your guts? but with no lasting effects?
I for example, when I eat certain types of food, usually things like Gyoza and Fishcakes, get insane level crippling pain in my stomach about 30 mins-hour after eating, for about an hour duration. Then it just goes away.
But I don't experience it with things like Flake or Calamari, etc..
I imagine it's somewhat what happens to Lactose intolerant people (i'm not), as I often have an extremely burny/water shit afterwards at some point.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure some people's allergic reactions are more serious than others.
Yes, there are things such as 'severe allergies' and 'mild allergies'. Like for some people, eating french fries that are cooked in peanut oil will be fine. Others have near death experiences if they have a single one of those fries.
Possibly gluten intolerance? Maybe ask a doctor about your symptoms next time you go in.

Yep. The only two things I'm allergic to are mesquite trees, and olive trees. When they're blooming, I feel a little shitty, but not too bad. I sneeze when I walk past a mesquite tree.
But my doctors told me that for me to get a reaction, I'd need to take off my shirt and rub against the bark. Allergies are different.
