Hi /adv/
calling on brits to help me out here, long story short, I am looking for a permanent IT position in London.
What should i be aware of when moving to London?
Any specific neighborhood I should avoid?
Whats finding a living space like?
- how expensive is it? so on.
Hope you can help me, I am clueless here
I lived in London, and am moving back soon, but I'm not British. London is hideously expensive--more expensive than NY or SF. You should try to live near a subway line, obviously. At the low end of the market, apartments move very quickly. You probably want to talk to people directly rather than going through an agent. Note that most London apartments come furnished, so there is that.
I never went to too many neighborhoods, so I can't help you much.
