I have been thinking a lot of either going for something with computers like IT/Computer science or going into the medical field (perhaps nursing)
I am not really thrilled by either of these but theyre really the only jobs in demand these days. Tech bores me but seems like a decent desk jocky job (though that would probably make me KMS) and going into medical seems insanely stressful for the amount you get paid (but becoming a travel nurse and moving around the US sounds really nice to me even though I might still want to KMS)
I have had pretty bad depression for the past 13 years so both options still might send me over the edge but having a job that makes peanuts is doing the same thing to me regardless
tl;dr: have depression, looking for job. despise my choices. Do you think tech or med is a good idea?
Any /adv/?

Tech if you're smart enough to complete the program. But really, do something to fix or at least reduce the depression first.

What is it you actually like OP? Doesn't matter if its ok for a job, but we can find something realted if you tell us what you actually enjoy doing

We definitely need to know what you like.
Do not take a job you hate. We'll be able to see you don't want to work for us. You'll slave away at something you hate, and will just be more depressed.
Money isn't everything.

Exactly. Even if what you actually like does not have very good job opportunities, something somewhat related will do the trick. Tell us OP
I was going to do a trade but something happened and I can never do physical labor again - now I don't care what I do, probably computer something
