Is "everybody must be good at something" true?

Or

You can see it as you can be a jack of trades and be average at a lot of stuff, which is what i prefer to be, makes you have more interesting things to say and talk about.

All this of course is based on your world view of stuff.

Not everyone can be an ace, but a jack isn't so bad either.

Someone posted this bingo chart on /int/ which is what triggered me to make this thread, this summed up my thoughts very succinctly (again, I tend to ramble because I'm not smart enough to use my words wisely and descriptively), so just throwing this in since my OP was kinda haphazard.

The saying is "jack of all trades, master of none, but sometimes more useful than a master of one," but I don't see how, practically, someone knowing a little bit of German and a little bit of Calculus is more useful than hiring two specialists.

Not to get too meta on this but you seem to be very good at defeating yourself. So you've got that going for you. Which is nice.

There's a whole world of talents. You've tried maybe a dozen? I met a guy who was a masterful micro surgeon but was about worthless at doing literally anything else. So buck up buttercup.

I'm naturally good at rhythm games.

Is it useless? Yeah, I guess. Should I discount the fact I'm good at it? Nope! Just makes me happy knowing I'm good at something.

Oh and I'm good at lying and advertising, which goes hand in hand lol.

I forgot to mention in my OP that I am slowly getting better at osu, which is pretty much the most promising skill I have so far, but I'm still pretty average and have no clue when I'll hit a wall.

Pretty much every example you gave ends with "but it was hard so I gave up". Unless you're a savant the only way to become truly skilled at something is hard work over a long period of time.
If I had to make an assumption I'd say that you're a slightly above average IQ kid who learned how to game the school system to get good grades. Your good grades inflated your ego ("I was a gifted kid") and made you adverse to busting your ass at something until you improve. That's why you're not good at anything.

Who are you quoting? I said "I was always in gifted classes." That's a factually correct statement. I don't see myself as intelligent, in fact my entire post is about how I can't seem to do anything right.

Work harder. Identify the reasons why you procrastinate and shrug off hard work and fix them.
