I just got a job with decent payment, and I have a close friend, we have over 6 years of friendship
>I see shit I want on amazon, good offer, 5 left on stock, $80 bucks
>No credit card and just half the money to buy it ($35)
>Friend offers credit card
>I'm getting paid next week so I pay friend the other half
>Boss says "oh, sorry we got confused no payment yet, wait 3 weeks"

I will only be able to give him 40-50% of the item price till mid-August.
Should I abort the plan? He told me that his credit period just ended, so shit must be paid in september first days.
Anyways i'm scared of ruining a friendship by looking scummy or taking advantage of a friend. It's a nice deal but I would rather have peace and a good friend if this kind of shit is socially dangerous.
Tips? I've never done this before
(I'm on the way of getting a credit card btw, timing is bad)

that's fine dude, just tell him you'll also pay the interest on the item because you wont be able to pay it in time. depending on his card it'll be anywhere from 1% to 30%
