You don't..?
I mean you can scrunch the image with GIMP or even ME Paint, but it will look like garbage. If there is a lot of blank or "white" space in the sides of the image you can crop it, with the aforementioned apps. bit there's little you can do with an image that has content throughout sans making a new image from scratch in the desired aspect ratio..
