I'm a guy and I absolutely hate texting. I miss talking on the phone and hearing an actual voice.
I know you can send "audio message" recordings now but it's not the same as an actual interactive real time talking conversation.

I'm by no means an expert but you mean you have a date on the weekend right? Is it really required to keep texting the person until then? I thought it would be okay to just arrange the date and just text again the day before to confirm the date and that's it
