I'm not saying all 18 years old are immature, just that the majority of them are. They don't want awkward guys their own age and are attracted by the security that an older man brings, but when they achieve that security themselves (in their mid twenties, usually) that no longer becomes attractive and they tend to go for somebody closer to their age bracket.

I'm personally pretty sure I'm a ton more exciting and socially active than any 20-somethings making $35,000 a year in her office job or whatever. You just have to make sure you don't become a boring 30-something that wants to sit in the house all night (hard to do for some I guess, I know a lot of people my age who have burned out).

This is another good point. As you get into your late 20s, women start to become boring as shit on average. Just like he says, every date becomes some recycle of the same old story. 9-5 work in a bland desk cube, comes home to her dog or cat, opens a red wine, cooks a sensible dinner for one, and then it's Netflix and early to bed (she just loves Orange is the New Black).

Update: she admitted that she was actually 17 and tells people she's older so that they'll take her seriously. I had to put the kibosh on the whole thing.
