I'm currently about to begin college and I'm wondering how I should handle my work life during college. I already work at another job which gives me a little less than 20 hours a week at $8/hr. (It will be more when business gets busy. I'm at a movie theater so it gets insane during Christmas for example) I applied to another place that would give me a little bit more than 20 hours a week starting at $10/hr. The thing is I'm interested in a management position at my current job, and one will open up in at most a year, if not sooner, and I think I have a fairly high chance of getting it if I just stick with a valiant work ethic. They do view me pretty highly there because I shut up and listen to what they tell me among other things. That's my reasoning for why I want to keep my job, but I do want this new one because more money. Assuming I get it, should I keep both and do school, or just do the one job. During highschool I had school for about 32ish hours a week and worked for about 22ish and I was so exhausted all the time.
And if I were to gain a management position I'd be making approximately $13/hr and have about 25ish hours a week. Plus it would look good on a resume.
I live equal distance from both jobs.
What do you guys think?
take your profits and run. never count on uncertain events
Bump before I go to bed. Any more opinions? If it matters I'm 18, moving to a place where I'll pay rent every month (so that's why money is pretty important to me), and going to community college

Firstly take the job that covers your needs.
Then look at internships. When it comes to post graduation job hunt that's what really matters. No relevant experience equals a hard time.
