What are some things I can do to lose belly fat? I've been

What are some things I can do to lose belly fat? I've been under a lot of stress lately, and I've been snacking a lot and drinking lots of cola to cope with the stress. But I don't want to go on like this anymore cause the weight keeps piling on. I'm looking at healthier things to eat and drink instead of soda, sweets and chips. And I have a cross trainer at home that I work out on, but I can't manage more than more half an hour, and I read that you have to run more than half an hour to really start the fat burning process. At most I can do 33 minutes or so. If anyone has some tips or advice on how to lose belly fat i'm all ears.

For meals instead of soda get some kind of juice.

Lift weights. Cardio doesnt really burn fat, at least compared to weight lifting. Its a common misconception.

Secondly you cant burn belly fat. You burn body fat. Meaning if you want to get rid of belly fat, you need to burn fat in general to the point where it starts going away from your belly.

Third, and most importantly, is diet. Stop eating bullshit. Cut out soda entirely, it is horrific for your health. Stop eating candy and chips and fastfood and junkfood overall. Want a snack? Eat some fruit. For meals you want most of your calories to come from protein sources (eggs, tuna, most nuts, meat in general, etc). Of course eat a balanced diet, but focus on more protein and less junkfood (or better, none at all).

Not tryna shit on you but thats bad advice. Fatty foods do not equal body fat. Sugar and carbs infact are the wordt culprits for people gaining weight. OP should absolutely be eating fried eggs for breakfast, they are an excellent source of protein and omega 3s. Infact, breakfast cereal is possibly one of the worst foods possible to eat and should be cut out entirely. It has ridiculous amounts of sugar and is entirely carbs.

Have oatmeal instead, or some sort of healthy granola if you love cereal. Use google to find which ones arent unhealthy - sadly almost every cereal is not good for you.

Again focus on eating more protein. Dont worry about fat either. Low fat diets pushed by mainstream like "the american heart association" and such are actually the least effective at reducing bodyfat. Dietary fat doesnt just get consumed and stuck on your body, its a huge misconception. If you want to cut something from your diet, its carbs and sugar. This doesnt mean you should eliminate them entirely, it just means thats where you should focus all of your dietary cutting on. Simply removing junkfood is adequate for almost everyone with an average diet.

As for the exercise, idk how scientifically accurate all that stuff is, but start low. I can never do more than 3mph, 4 tops on my treadmill due to a couple of different medical issues. I do 1-2 hours of low speed walking and saw decent weight loss with a low calorie diet. When I was in a good swing of things, I always lost at least 1 pound a week, sometimes a little more.
