my job is not related to my major. 7 months in and my bosses are gradually noticing i am not suited for the task.
i want to quit but i need the money. i have no connections in my field and i am scared that i wont find a job i like, based on my current irrelevant experience.
should i give it another try and try to learn this job, even when i have no idea what i am doing ? the contract ends up in december and if i do well, i was told i would get hired again for another year. but is it gonna be worth it? should i stay here until the year ends and then look for another job? should i quit now and flush this discomfort away and be unemployed for god knows how long? should i sign up and wageslave for another boring and unsatisfactory year?

Stick to your job. Work hard at it and get better. Look for another job on your own time.
