I need help in getting people to forget who I used to be

Talk to the people who experienced your anger explained you have changed and offer them proof.

Phone them up and say something like "Hey, it's Anon. I'm sorry for those things that I did back then. I got some help and I feel much better now. I would like to meet up sometime and reconnect. If you say no then I will understand."

If they do say no then you just forget about them because they aren't willing to give you another chance.
