First time posting in /adv/, because I really am in need of some advice from people not close to me. I wasted 4 years of my life in uni (I'm 22 now), studying scandinavian studies (basically, learned to speak swedish), and I can't even get a diploma, because I don't have the time to study for the exams, because I started working with computers, which I've loved since, well I got my first PC. I am in sort of a loophole here, where I constantly study (Python atm), and I still feel like a useless piece of shit even though I help my family with money I earn in my job and learn a lot every day. I really don't know what's wrong with me, and would be extremely grateful, if anyone here has some idea on how to work this out.

I'm confused. Explain why you are feeling bad again.

Are you pursuing what makes you happy? Are you projecting standards on yourself based on comparison with other, completely different people's standards? Answer these questions then re-evaluate what YOU want to achieve in life. You will feel better once you realise you are currently contributing to accomplishing those achievements.

That's literally the issue, I am grinding hard every day to become better and strive to be a better person, yet I feel that I have just been left out of the grid, and can no longer attain what people have done in the field I am interested in (programming). I am starting to think that unless I study like crazy every day, I will amount to nothing, and this thing is killing me inside

You didn't directly answer the question, but I can see the problem is that you're comparing yourself to others too much. Address that issue.

I admit that this is a flaw in my character that I have tried to work out, but I think it hasn't worked out, since this is how it ended. I just think that if some random teenager had a breakthrough with something and is now incredibly successful, or if someone is just naturally smart, I can do that as well. I have looked for information on that topic, but really, I don't think anything is helping at this point.
