As a result of my parents divorcing, i will receive 100k euros. I am not rich nor are my parents, they come from selling our house.
I will soon graduate in 3-years enginnering (in italy is 3+2 and you can stop at 3 if you want).
I could spend about 40k and do the other 2 years.
Or i could invest a good chunk, but i don't know how or where.

I am 28 years old, i was very slow studying because i always worked to pay for expenses so little time to study.

What to do?

Invest it
Idk how Italy stock exchange works but find strong stable companies and throw your money in there.
Exxon, Microsoft, bayer ect. Just pick large companies in different sectors so you're diversified. As for school if you want then do it but 40k is a lot of money try getting an engineering job unless you really like college a lot.

Invest the money, but not in Italy for God's sake. Move your money to Germany like everyone else. The Italians will just steal, lose, or tax it all.

Italian here. There's nothing wrong in investing it in italy, as long as you're given all the information needed by the intermediary. Keep in mind that if you want acceptable yields (4-5%) you have to go for investment funds. Traditionally, among these, those which mainly invest in stocks or derivatives are more profitable than bond funds and others, but riskier. If you want almost everything-proof investment while avoiding investment funds (which you'd need if you want to diversify) you have to invest in government bonds or covered bonds of highly rated institutions (so, for starters, avoid all the speculative grade junk). That of course will yield little and you'll barely cover the inflation, but at least you'll not lose.
Anyway, it's always better asking to an independent financial advisor or a bank for these things

Kek. Two percent yield. You might eek past inflation if you're lucky. You could always try Venezuelan bonds.
