"Nice Guy"

How do I stop being a "nice guy" and repulsing women as a result?

Example from today:

>move into a room in a new apartment
>three Korean qts living here
>I get home from running and pass them
>take a shower
>they knock my door
>I go out and they hand me some cheese as a gift
>I stand with them talking
>ask them questions about Korea, about learning English etc
>within 5 minutes one of them laughs awkwardly and says "okaaaay....have a good evening"
>obviously she senses the awkwardness
>ends on an awkward note with me thanking them for the cheese and them saying "have a nice evening!" in a real patronizing way

Now I don't intend to have sex or anything like that with any of them, but I just know they think I'm some "nice", awkward guy who is draining to be around.

Yet I don't feel the same instincts I did as a teen to be "wacky" and entertain them by being super energetic or acting false. Nor do I have it in me to be stone-faced and "mysterious" and act overly forward and tease them by touching them etc.

I know for a face that certain guys, including guys I once knew, would have these girls, or one of them at least, falling for them etc. Yet already I have smiled too much, acted too harmless, and been categorized as a person to be avoided.
