Hello.
There is a park in front of my new home. Very family friendly place on weekends and holidays (up until around 23pm when crackheads go smoke in a corner).
There are a lot of young adults, teens and adults with families and friends playing volleyball and soccer (there is a field too).
I'm new in this city and wanted to try making some friends. How would I go about interacting with people in this current setting without sounding like a creep? My family is really introverted and wouldn't agree to go along and since I'm new here I don't really have any friends to go with.
Also, a lot of them (weirdly) are people that come from other neighborhoods in the same city, so no, they aren't my neighbors to begin with.
And no, I don't want to bed women/girls there, I just want to make some acquaintances/friends.

Ask if you can join them to play soccer/volleyball and go from there. During or after doing sporta with them, have a chatter with them. Ask how often they come to that place and when they would like to meet up for a next time.
I'm still wondering why you need instructions on how to go outside and say "hi" to other young adults.
