Hi there,
So my granddad died about a year ago, and he had a huge stampcollection. About +300 books and maps. I once talked with him about it and he told me after he died he wanted them to go to his grandchildern. He also told me his biggest fear was they would be sold without being properly looked at. And guess what is going to happen. His childern (my dad and uncle) are going to sell them on a auction. The thing is. There is nothing i can do about it because he did not left a will. He has 6 grandchildern and we could choose between a part of the money or a part of the stamp collection. I was the only one who choose for a part of the collection so i got about 40 books. Is there anything i can do to honour my granddads wish? I told them it is not a good plan to sell them at auction but they are still going to do it. And how shit is it that you worked your ass of all your life and the moment you die they will sell your lifework and only think about money?
