My wallet was recently stolen so I don't have an ID. I already schedule an appointment to replace it. What would happen if I just walk into a liquor store, grab a bottle and leave enough cash to pay for it (and walk away)?
Also is there any other way to prove I'm 21?
I'm literally turning 22 in 2 weeks so it sucks I can't buy anything because some scumbag stole from me.

Birth certificate or passport? Honestly just ask for a friend to buy it for you.
Or, go somewhere where the person at the counter already knows you and hope they won't card you.

I dont live near any friends (like 30+ min away) so I'd feel like a dick asking for help
Also the liquor store I usually go to (closest one) they ALWAYS ask me for an ID, I've been there 10+ times. The same guy too.

First get an ID card along as well as your driver's license. Leave the ID card at HOME with your social security card.

They would call the police and have you arrested for shoplifting. You haven't purchased it until you've had an exchange with the cashier. They're not going to risk losing their liquor license by selling to someone without an ID.
