And how turned-off by it is the average man? I really have no idea if my hair patterning is normal for a white girl since images on the internet always seem to be of extremes, but I feel like a I have more than normal. I don't like it, but shaving always results in irritated skin by the end of the day and ingrown hairs, and I don't really want a prickly pussy either. Things rub down there. Even if there's a way to cut down on the ingrown hairs, maintaining a dedicated pubic hair removal routine with daily upkeep sounds a lot more bothersome than keeping it and maybe giving it the occassional trim. Waxing is out of the question; I couldn't do it to myself and I'm not going to pay some bitter asian lady to torture my exposed vag. So I'm wondering if a girl with hair around her butt and on her inner thighs is generally seen as un-feminine and a slob?

>So I'm wondering if a girl with hair around her butt and on her inner thighs is generally seen as un-feminine and a slob?
personally, I wouldn't care, but I'm afraid with porn being so common, most guys will expect you to shave or at least not be too hairy
it does look better to most, though there are people who prefer hair
>>

Buy a laser hair removal system from Amazon
>>
>>18540070
That's what I'm afraid of. Do you mean shave it all, or just the parts that fall out of the traditional pubic area i.e. butt and thigh?

>>18540071
Do those things actually work? I've always assumed that the affordable ones were a scam.

I'm a guy and I trim everything with pic related
It's awesome: fast, painless, comfortable
If your bf has some taste he will like a little bush in there :^)
>>
>>18540090
Thanks for the reccomendation. I've been considering getting a hair trimmer like that, but I'm more concerned about the patterning and that my hair covers a large area, not the length of it.
>>
>>18540078
that depends on the guy, I guess
it's nt really something I discuss with my friends or anyone, so I don't know how others feel about it
for me even without that is fine, though doing it probably looks nicer to most
generally speaking, I think most guys would be satisfied with just these areas, but I really don't know
if are in a relationship with someone though, I doubt that's going to be the dealbreaker, especially because he can just tell you if he likes it or not
for one night stands and the likes, I guess shaving most off is best, though I doubt a guy would change his mind because there's a little more hair than he expected
he might not want to do oral though
>>
>>18540116
No bf, I'm just a very body concious virgin. I already don't think I'm all that great of a catch, and in the off-chance a guy finds me fuckable I don't want him to change his mind once my pants are off. I also don't really like the idea of someone "putting up" with my hair if they don't like it either.

Maybe I'll just try what >>18540071 said. $200 is a lot to spend on something that I fear will either not work or burn me.

Do most girls just shave or something? I don't see how they can tolerate walking around with scratchy ass-cheeks.
>>
>>18540130
>I don't want him to change his mind once my pants are off.
that's very unlikely
>I also don't really like the idea of someone "putting up" with my hair if they don't like it either.
that not so much and I can understand it, but am afraid that's something you will have to talk about with a guy if you meet one
>Do most girls shave or something?
that I don't know, I've only ever had (but still do) one girlfriend, but she doesn't too often, not in winter anyway
I don't expect her to, because I j ow it's a pain, and don't feel she needs to do it to look good to me, but apparently I am kind of weird anyway

if you have the money, I don't think buying a kit like that will do too much harm, so just go for it if it makes you feel better
>>
I like a bush

even armpit hair or leg hair doesn't bother me.

But if it's overgrown or theres nipple hair/facial hair (mostly mustache) then I will protest
>>

>>
>>18540181

>>18540254
lol, nipple hair is easy enough to just pluck. I wish the rest of it was like that.
>>
Bump. Hoping for more opinions.
>>
personally, I like girls that dress nice, take care of themselves and keep it short and neat, fresh and clean down there.

Your probably going to want to take care of some of those things you mentioned, especially last sentance
>>
>>18540060
Grill here. Only two guys saw me naked. The first one I trimmed a bit around him and he never commented, while the second one loved my pubic hair and told me not to shave.

I don't think men care as much as girls think. Reading online, most guys seem to prefer trimmed. Looks like the completely bald look is going out of style?
>>
>>18540060
just laying all cards on the table.
i don't shave... maybe once every 6 month when i really want to do something "sexy" for my bf. (been together for 4 years)
though i trim the bush, or else it would be a bit too much!

i have a chronich illness down in my private area, which does i'm pretty much in constance pain and it's a journey when me and my bf are getting down to do dirty stuff..

then i have some mild OCD which makes me pluck hair and pick skin. mostly from my tummy area but also from my arms and private area.

i see a doctor every week to try and deal with my pain down there, and talk about the OCD
i was told girls shouldn't shave their hair 100% off, but trim it.
because the skin is very fragile and sensetive, when shaving it you ruin the structure and can get huge cysts and stuff down there because of shaving..
>>
>>18540060
not a single man cares as long as its neat and clean

sure there are some guys who like jungle rot but a majority of guys want a clear point if entry. The fact that you take care of yourself enough to groom, shave, trim, etc is a turn on.
>>

Op please, stop being little baby. You either want to shave or dont. No boy will refuse to go down on you unless you stink down there.
>and it is harder to stink when you have no bush

Since i started shaving down there, i dont have to scratch myself there every hour. It is more hygienic and it is easy. I use pic related. To prevent itching and ingrown hairs, i shave my pubic area only when showering and after i am done, i scrubble the area with soup hard and i get like 1 ingrown hair per shaving.

But hey, i am boy so my shaving experience has nothing to do with yours. All my ex gf shaved down there, or did when i told them. Oral is much more fun when you dont have to pick up hairs from your mouth after.

And the smooth look is good. And the fun part is the older generation consider shaved boys as sign of being gay and liking shaved girls as sign of pedophilia.

Tldr do what you want. It is easy for girl to get sex. Much harder to make him stick around as actual boyfriend.

T. Boy.
>>
Most girls shave if anything.
Hair removal cream is for pros.
Laser can lead to regrets (I've read woman who have had lazier treatments regret not being able to grow it back after a while).

Everyone's bodies are different and same with taste (obvious statement is obvious).

All grills are hairy and butthole hair ain't no thang.

I personally trim because that's what I think is best, keeping it neat and clean. I use to shave but not anymore (too much effort @ +25yrs plus).
>>
Either trim your pubic hair really short using a pair of clippers, shave some of it off (love me a landing strip), or shave it all off. Out of the twelve or so women I've had sex with, all but two have been completely clean shaven. The other two, one had a strip and the other girl just bounced around to whatever she wanted to do at the time.
As for my tastes, I don't give a shit what a girl does. As long as she doesn't have a jungle down there, then I'm good to go. If you have hair on your ass and inner thighs, that's cool too as long as it's not really thick dark hair. Thick dark hair in those places would be "huh.. there's hair. Whatever" *shrug* and then sex. I also don't care if her legs are prickly. I've been with girls who hadn't shaved their legs in weeks and it didn't bother me in the slightest. The only hair that I absolutely *hate* is armpit hair.
>>
>>18540060

from a girl to another,
I know your trouble, have straw blonde hair on my head but I have darker body hair thats obviously more noticeable.

My husband is the first and only guy that saw/sees me naked and he doesn't mind stubble but I feel more feminine if it's all smooth.
Usually during winter I'm a bit more lazy with my legs but once summer comes I try to epilate as much as possible (by now it's not painful anymore) sensitive areas I shave wet only. Gillette Fusion Proglide for Men is the best so far, once out of the shower I put baby powder or Aloe vera on the areas and never have ingrown hairs.
But yeah sometimes I feel like I need yoga in my life when I try to get rid of the hair around my butthole or on my labia.
>>
>>18541931
Thanks for the razer reccomendation. I didn't even know that epilators were a thing, but I think I'll look into them now. I've always wished I could pluck en mass since that seems to be easier for me than dealing with stubble. Maybe not for labia, but other areas.

>>18540991
I've tried hair removal cream before with bad resutls. I probably don't put it on thick enough of long enough, but it's nerve-wracking using something that could give you a chemical burn down there.

>>18540986
An ingrown hair every shaving seems excessive to me. I have a hell of a time getting rid of them.
>>
>>18541931
Why is a mens razor better than womens brands? Also what shaving cream would you recommend?
>>18541998
The hair removal cream is only good for removing large amounts of longer hair. I usually let it sit on for about 10 minutes, no more. Then shave over to get any remaining hairs that were left.
>>
>>18540060
>And how turned-off by it is the average man?

You need to post it to imgur and link it here if you genuinely want to know this as opposed to comforting answers, each woman looks different down there, for some hair looks nice, for others, same length, it looks fucking gross
>>
>>18540960
No its the fact that stubble is sharp freshly shaved or waxed feels heavenly
>>
>>18542011
>Why is a mens razor better than womens brands
Because men are better at everything.
But the real reason is probably because our beard is super strong thick hairs. So it has to be made more sharp / durable to actualy cut it through.

Sure pubes are thick too, but not as much as beard.
>>
>>18540060
I would say length doesn't matter as much as area. Shave the butthole and the thighs. Get it into a nice triangle...

Ever hear people say it's fine as long as it's at least "trimmed"? You're not even trimming it. Thats lazy and gross.

Look, you can do what you like, just like you can not wear makeup because its anoying, or heels because they hurt. You can opt out of that shit, but don't expect to be as hot as everyone who does.

Yes there are a few guys that like hair, but come on... we're hitting for the AVERAGE here. Its just better odds
>>
>>18540130
To prevent ingrown hairs, wait a few days between shaving again.

I would say most girls who go that bare probably wax.

I shave everything, it's really only itchy if you let it grow back in to much. Ive considered waxing because its such a pain in the ass but I'm anxious to let people work on my body.
>>
I use an epilator. It may seem scary but it's gentler and more controlled than waxing. Waxing would bruise my skin. An epilator hurts, but no bruising and I feel overall it's less painful. Plus it lasts a long time and no prickles since the hairs are being pulled out.
>>
>>18542161
They look like they would hurt. I'm looking for alternatives. Tried shaving and cream but they are too messy. Can you use it with longer hair, Or should I trim it down first then use it?
>>
Personally, I don't mind, and I've had a number of women, ranging from the naturally hairless (Asian) to some fairly hairy Europeans (who shaved mostly and trimmed pubes).

I remember one girl was mortified when I stroked her legs and there was a little stubble - she hadn't planned on being seduced by yours truly or allowing anything to happen - and remarked how nice it felt for a change. Am I a Trump-tier shitlord dishing out backhanded compliments? I don't know but we enjoyed other for some time after that.
As long as both parties can relax and at least talk about these things it shouldn't be a big deal. The lady I'm currently seeing has a rather large and long bush and I'm thinking of asking her to trim it slightly, simply for convenience. But she's quite shy so I'll be gentle about it.
Myself? Pretty hairy and untrimmed as of now, but the summer heat and sweat is an incentive to trim, not supposed attractiveness to women, they're not high on the list of to-please priorities. That said, if there was a major problem and I liked her a lot, then there might be something to talk about. But shaving anything other than the face (occasionally): never.
>>
>>18542171
well yeah there is pain it's pulling out hairs. It grabs easier if the hair has been trimmed.

take a few shots before you do it if you're worried.
>>
>>18542187
So similar pain to pulling hairs with tweezers?
>>
>>18542161
Different person here, I tried epilator and it hurts more than waxing, plus my hair is too strong for it to pull it out.
>>
>>18540060
>So I'm wondering if a girl with hair around her butt and on her inner thighs is generally seen as un-feminine and a slob?
If I was about to fuck a girl and saw that, I'd definitely notice.
However, I'd have probably had to chat to you, feign interest in your life and take you out somewhere to fuck you, so provided that you are keeping hygienic, I wouldn't care, just like most guys won't.
>>
>>18542224
Yes.

>>18542230
My hair is fair so this may explain our different experiences.
>>
>>18542233
Doesn't seem too bad then, I think I can handle it. Already used tweezers for a lot of things, so I am used to the pain.
>>
>>18540060
I love me a bush, I don't want it to be wild man status but I'm harder than steel if I see some pubes down there. A woman is expected to keep herself groomed and cleaned so it's a treat for me to see your pussy in a semi natural state. If you have hair down there then you're getting a world class dicking from me
>>
I hate how my hair looks healthy downstairs and on my armpit but never was my on my head.
>>
>>18542256
right in the feel :((
>>
>>18542011

Women's razors always gave me that rash and I'd accidentally cut myself more often but with the Gillette it's like butter, might be that the blades are sharper and the handle has a nice weight to it. one blade lasts me a month or so as well.
I don't use shaving foam or gel but normal hair conditioner lol sounds weird but it makes the process smooth.
>>
>>18542390
Hmm interesting. What is the process with the conditioner Just lather it on like shaving cream? Any particular conditioner that works best?
>>
>>18540060
It really depends on the guy.

For example, I am cool with bush, even armpit hair and hairy arms. But hairy legs is a turnoff for me.

There just isn't really any rhyme or reason to it.

I guess go for the middle ground and just keep it somewhat neat looking
>>
None.
>>
>>18540060
I don't think any guy is gonna just pack it up and leave once your pants are off

Only thing that could make him do that is if it's smelly or has lice in it

So just keep it clean. That's the most important thing.
>>
Femanon here.

Find a good waxing studio and get waxed. Shaving increases the strength and size of the hair. And the more you shave on your inner thigh, the more dark hairs will grow afterwards.

Meanwhile after waxing the hairs grow back much softer, smaller and fewer in numbers. After my very first waxing they were as soft as what little hairs I have on my arms. And they reduce even further with time; the lady who waxes me told me she has a few costumers who've been waxing for a little over a decade now and they barely grow any hair at all.

Also, it doesn't hurt. Just make sure you go to a professional waxing studio and not some shady backyard store. Your skin will be spotted with red dots after the first time but these vanish within a day or two and don't hurt. And don't forget to peel 1 day after the waxing to avoid ingrown hairs.
>>
>>18540060
I really don't give a shit what it looks like. The only reason I prefer a girl to be trimmed up is so I don't get a mouth full of hair when I'm going down on her. Nothing ruins the mood more than having to break to pull a hair out of your mouth. Same goes for around your butt, because I will be putting my mouth there.
>>
>>18542451

>>18542474

To more directly respond to the OP - It depends on the guy but I think the general consensus is that a super majority of men dislike a thick bush (>65%) I would even go so far as to say that even more men then that would be more OK with vag being smooth than having a bush.

But don't feel like you have to shave like every day. It depends. If you're in a relationship, you could probably get away with shaving once a week if he's not too picky. That's about average for my gf. If you're not in a relationship then don't worry about shaving all the time.

Also, a couple tips (but not to insult your intelligence) - If and when you shave, don't shave against the graint, shave with it. It tends to produce less irritation.

And if you don't want to use a normal razor, use electric clippers!

https://www.amazon.com/Hair-Clippers/b?ie=UTF8&node=234949011

Doesn't have to be as expensive. And you don't have to use any guards. And if you're only using it for your vag, shouldn't be an issue.

Sounds a bit goofy, but I like to keep a 5 oclock shadow look on my face and I use an electric clipper to keep it close shaven. This should cut back on your razor bumps and stuff. Hope this helps.

I'm from brazil, so obviously brazilian wax is extremely common around here. I really, really like it, and since my gf loves it too, she did lazer removal on everything.

Personally, I like it stripped naked from below the clit to the ass, and a low trim above it if she preferes to keep the pubes. Makes oral MUCH more comfortable if the skin is smooth all around the clit and below. However I'm ok with thin clear plumage mostly everywhere.
>>
>>18542586
Ok, I take the ass, you take whatever that other thing is, okey?
>>
what i do is trim the hairs that i think are "too out there" aka the hairs that would stick out of my underwear and the ones around my anus and crack with the shortest setting and the rest to which ever length i currently want. no ingrown hairs anymore and if i don't feel like it, i can just trim down the unwanted hairs and let the rest grow wild.
i can go without having to trim completely for months without any issues. might also be because i got lucky and my bf highly prefers me to be as bushy as possible. he always complains if i trim too short, but sometimes i do it anyways, when i want to feel "groomed".
>>
Fuck body hair expectations. Do what you want.

My DH says he gets weird-ed out by armpit hair, but since he won't shave his own, he doesn't expect me to shave mine when I don't feel like it.

I honestly just trim because ingrown hairs are shit.

I don't shave. Trimming makes things prickly. Shaving make things itchy and terrible. I just leave it. If a guy wants me, he will want all of me.

I like hair on a man. It shouldn't be shaven. That's like little boy. I find shaven men down there kinda gross.

You're really gonna have to take that case-by-case. There are guys who would be offended if you shaved. There are guys who would be offended if you didn't.

There are also those who don't care and would wonder why you're stressing over hair.
>>
>>18542522
that's just because the hair begins at a thicker point from having been cut off from shaving. so not exactly the same as saying the hairs get thicker due to the shaving///
>>
I used to wax but it's pricy and you have to wait for hair to be a decent length in order to wax it again. People say it make hair weaker and with time you'll grow less, I don't know if it's true but if it is it must take a lot of time. (Waxing obviously hurts)

I shaved once and it was incredibly itchy, to the point I had to keep to the toilet and scratch, so I didn't do it again.

Then after trying laser in another part of my body I decided to try it down there and I'm very happy with the results. I can shave between sessions but the hair is very noticeably weaker and there's less quantity. Its never itched.

I wouldn't trust guys' opinions on this because their idea of "a natural bush" seems to be some hair on the front, kek.
