My baby sister is turning 16 soon, and she's fanatic on the idea of a Sweet 16. She asked me to help her, but I was nothing like her when I was her age. I don't mind helping, though, because she doesn't want my parents involved.
It's understandable, because my 16th birthday was "ruined" by my parents (They're just strict, all they did was embarrass me but I get where she's coming from).
She doesn't want a big party because she has 5 close friends, so she thought of going camping for the weekend, somewhere to get away from mom and dad. The problem is, there's no camping spots near our town. And I'm not driving 5 teenage girls on a 6 hour trip for the weekend. I asked her to think of something else, and she insisted as long as it's memorable and not at home.
I want my sis to have a good 16th birthday as it's really important to her, but I have no idea what to do. Does anyone have any ideas?
What's the budget? Maybe something like a spa day or getting dressed up to go out to a nice dinner? That's assuming she's pretty girly.

I haven't really planned out a budget. My parents are giving her 200 to spend on herself, and I'm okay with paying for all 6 of them for an event of some sort.
And yes, she is girly, but she wants to do something for a 2-day weekend, "something new and exciting" is what I guess she meant.
Where do you live, exactly? We can't really tell you where you should travel if we don't know where you are.
