My father went bald, so did his. My 27 years-old brother is just fine but I, as an 18 year-old, am concerned.

If I AM going bald, should I take minoxidil or fino- something something? Any real side effects? (most blogs or whatever sites give vague explanations and they're kinda useless)

your hairline is slowly receding, not much past mature hairline now.
Maybe talk to a doctor about fin or minoxidil, and decide if it's worth the side effects.
Also your facial hair will get WEAKER on finasteride. :^)
