Have any of you actually overcame the problem of porn addiction?
I guess that today I have reached rock bottom. Maybe that's good, but I don't know if I will be able to pull it off. I've tried already, some time in the past, when I had serious problems with my actual sex life. But they, let's say, stopped being that serious, so I convinced myself that there is nothing wrong in what I'm doing.
But we all know there is.
I haven't spoken with anyone about this, nor tried to seek help. I guess it's too embarassing. And my girlfriend wouldn't understand it.
What the hell do I do? I sometimes share my computer with other people, so any porn blocking software can't be used.
I feel like a prisoner.
I have the same problem. Severe porn addiction and actually damaged my dick with it. I haven't been able to overcome it, but you have to go full cold turkey and adopt the "porn is not an option" mindset. Yourbrainonporn is a very good site to read.

How bad is the addiction. There's a major difference in treating porn like an addict and just having a good sesh after a long day. And most guys think that just cause they wank once or twice a day they're an addict.
really, you have to hate what porn is doing to you. I think porn latches onto insecurities or other traumas, which eventually feeds this addiction and becomes damaging. I believe it feeds all sorts of sick fetishes, paedophilia, rape, torture, swinging, cucking, bestiality which will effect your self esteem and honestly, make you into a bad person - my thoughts.
you need to hate what its doing to your life. Living from one release to another, rather than actually enjoying life for the things life offers, achieving goals, developing relationships, motivation and mood - all things i believe porn damages, through re-wiring reward circuitry for instantaneous gratification.
Once you hate porn, decide to spend less time online, so into auto mode when you get the urge to just shut the computer down and go do something else. Even see a therapist, they're happy to talk about this sort of thing, the action of doing that alone will really bring your efforts to stop this into a physical reality and part of your lifestyle. Good luck anon

take your laptop and work materials to the city library and work from there, make it your routine. Also, notice how much more confident you feel and more 'predatory' abstaining from masturbating for 5+ days will make you feel. Deeper voice, better mood, increased confidence. You will feel these benefits and they will fuel your motivation

Over the past 10 years I've watched all the porn on the Internet so I was left with re-runs. I got gf 2 months ago and haven't watch porn or fappers since then. I've also done enough drugs to be addicted but nope. Maybe I just don't have an addictive personality. Today i don't want or need to watch porn.....
