I'm a cashier (20/m) at a sporting goods store with another cashier (18/f) who I wanna ask out. I just wanna know how bad of an idea it is to do this?
Pic related is the closest pic I had on hand that kinda looks like the girl I wanna ask out.
don't shit where you eat
It's not the best idea to go out with someone you work with.

Yeah but like, how far down the scale is it?

Asking out co-workers is generally a bad idea. That isn't to say it couldn't be done but has some high risks. In a nut shell, the reason is because both of you are locked to your job. You both see each other every single day.
>So let's say she rejects you. Great, now it's going to be awkward for both you and her anytime you are together.
>What happens if you start going out regularly? Can't be the greatest thing for a relationship to see each other on the job and after work on a daily basis.
>What happens if you get into a fight? Well, everyday interaction at work will suck balls.
>What if you break up? Well, previous answer x1000.
Your job locks you into shitty situations if stuff goes wrong. You'd be better off hooking up with girls elsewhere where you won't have to live with mistakes on a daily basis if you fuck up.

As someone who's literally fucked every available female at his job: generally not a good idea. I only get away with it because im an adult about it and the girls have been really mature, but yeah don't shit where you eat.
It all depends on your position in the company.
I asked her out guys. I'm so relieved. She said she wasn't interested but I am so glad I did that cause now I feel like a huge weight is off my chest.

Good job bud. Now ask more chicks out

a person with balls? REEEEEEEEEEEEE
nah seriously you're a cool guy
Sorry to hijack your thread OP but I'm kind of in the same boat, except I'm leaving in a few weeks for a new job. She has only been working at my work for a few months. Does asking " Hey you seem kind of cool and i'd like to get to know you better. How about lunch sometime" sound fine?

good job, dude.
Fuck yeah. I'm not gonna lie, I am disappointed she said no, but the fact that I got it off my chest is awesome. I feel freer.
