I ended up just saying no. I was never close with her family anyways, so I feel more uncomfortable because she asked out of the blue. They would always do thier own thing on the few holidays we were eating together.

Note that I do know how it sounds, but Ive never been close with any of my family. I only ever spent time with my brother before he decided to be what would be considered the biggest loser on the internet.
