My boss told me to "not come into work tomorrow and next week" but return the following Monday, because he is taking a vacation.
I am not paid, and I am in California.
My whole plan was to quit after 20 more business days so I can Max out my IRA, earn my 4 credits of social security, and start a competing business across the street....
Am I be elgible for short term unemployment, since my boss laid me off for 6 days?
