This is usually way more about how it feels in the moment than anything else. As long as you're not putting too much force into it you're probably going to be fine. Only thing I'd watch out for in particular is using too much tongue too quickly, some girls find it especially off putting.

Other things to try/keep in mind:
-Gently bite/play with her lip
-Your hands still exist, run them over her body
-When you pause to take a breath try kissing her neck or cheek, my last gf liked it so much she'd be ready to fuck almost immediately
-Don't forget to breathe
