Happened to me as well, even though it started even earlier. Basically you can either shave it/get a very short buzzcut or take propecia, but effects may vary depending on the individual, it should slow the balding process down though even in the worst cases.
I'm receding at the corners but not balding on top yet, 21 years old. I just keep it cropped short or buzz it all off occasionally, it's not a big deal unless you make it into one. Fuck treatment.

Depending on how your head looks, I'd say shave it. I lucked out with a decent headshape so I shaved it off the second I noticed spots.
Personally, I am a fan of just accepting it and moving on with your life, bc unless you get a hair transplant you're gonna spend shitloads of money on treatments that only last as long as use them. Once you stop it goes back to square one.
When I shaved off my hair people told me I looked much better and I liked it better, although I think I have a decent head shape to pull it off. Beard and glasses help a lot also.
Pic related: myself who is 22 and already in that stage of hair loss lmao
Nearly bald dude here. My hair started thinning when I was around 21. Now I'm nearly 30. Just keep your hair short and embrace it. I've thought about medication for years, but realized it's not worth it.
Rogaine = Stains your pillows, headaches, have to apply it twice a day, the day you stop buying it you lose all your hair, barely any difference.
Propecia = Irreversible erectile dysfunction, new mental problems (brain fog), expensive, will have to buy other medications to counter the side effects
Going bald or keeping your hair short = Inexpensive, no health side effects, look more masculine and dominant, less maintenance and upkeep.
The less pills you have to pop, the better.
