I need help with a problem I've had for a while now.
Let's say you want to drop all of your friends and move city.
How would you go about finding new male friends?
I'm 22 and I've been alone for about 4 years while trying to deal with depression, but now I feel like I'm ready to return to normalcy, I'm struggling to identify a situation where adult strangers befriend one another.
How do I break out of this and find other young men to hang out with?

Join some kind of activity. A class, a sport, a game night, volunteer work, etc. Do stuff with people.

i already did those and people just have their own little groups within these groups so no one really accepted me as a frequent friend

Game shops are you best bet. A lot have open game nights. Magic the gathering has Friday NIght Magic if you can pony up the dough, but plenty of stores have a library of games open to the public. Look up when they have this gatherings.

Well, you gotta relax and enjoy the activity in itself. Don't push too much for a deep friendship in the beginning. You don'twant to come off as needy.

Tried magic the gathering group once and just could not play on the same level as the other guys in the club. They treated the game very cold and eliteist, I didn't have the patience for that.

As I said, check out that shop's site and see if they have an open game night. I go by myself to my local shop and always find a table. It's not instant-friends, but it's a way to start.
